With an invitation from Mr. Henry O. Demby, Jr., M.Ed., Transition Coordinator, District & School Assessment Coordinator, and Senior Academic Advisor at SESI Schools, we had the wonderful opportunity to share insights from our experiences as proud HBCU graduates. Alongside Bobbi Pough, a Lincoln University graduate, and Dr. Connie Boswell, an esteemed Spelman College alumna, I was honored to speak with students about the lasting value of an HBCU education. Together, we highlighted the importance of HBCUs not only in academic excellence but also in shaping culture, character, and community.
